Who am I?
Hi! My name is Tommy.
I was a software engineer for 10 years, predominantly focusing on web design and front-end development. In that time, I helped teams build performant, accessible and search-friendly websites with great user experiences. Little did I know it’d be the start of a journey into SEO.
My first business outside of engineering was London Canvas, an eCommerce store selling photography prints. And with that, I discovered how much visibility and technical structure led to real-world results. My biggest turning point was definitely seeing how keyword research, content strategies and other SEO techniques turn into real sales and money.
That’s why these days, I specialise in digital marketing through SEO with a slant towards technical SEO. I founded Vector SEO around two ideas:
- SEO should be clear, measurable, and focused on results that matter
- The person working on your project should be the person you talk to directly
So, whilst my speciality is technical SEO, my goal is to make it as practical as possible. I understand how bots like Google and AI browse and understand your website, and what gets a site chosen.
